Awana Puggles is an enriching program that presents basic biblical concepts:

  • We are a unique creation of God
  • God loves us very much

Awana Puggles teaches toddlers simple lessons through teaching cards, activities, music, and more. Puggles leaders have a leader’s guidebook to help them plan and direct club time and communicate the lesson.

Then parents—an Awana Puggle’s first and best teacher—can step in to reinforce the lessons with take-home cards that include ideas to point out God’s work each day.

The Cubbies curriculum features two handbooks written in a fun, storybook style that appeals to preschoolers. The handbooks contain 24 Bear Hug sections along with six optional special-day sections. Each section combines basic Scripture memory with parent-child activities to help a child grasp a simple biblical truth. Two extra-credit handbooks are also available.

Before starting a handbook, newcomers to Cubbies are taken through an introductory brochure that gives parents and children a brief overview of the program and presents God’s plan of salvation at a preschooler’s level. In addition, all memory verses are presented at an age appropriate level.

The Sparks program is made up of three handbooks. Each one builds a foundation of biblical wisdom through memory verse drills, crafts, activities, and review of key doctrine and Bible facts.

The first handbook, HangGlider, begins a sequential journey through the Bible, starting with Genesis and ending with Joshua. The WingRunner Handbook takes Sparkies on the next leg of the trip from Judges to the birth of Christ. Finally, the SkyStormer Handbook brings the curriculum in for a landing, exploring God’s Word from the ministry of Christ to Revelation.

Before working in a handbook, all newcomers to Sparks will complete an entrance booklet – Flight 3:16 – that centers on the gospel message of John 3:16.

The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third- through fifth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives

Each of the handbooks in our Truth & Training club investigates four questions. Eight answers from the Bible are provided for each question. Children will learn all eight answers to each of the questions and verses to back up these answers. The handbooks also include Bible studies and activities that allow children to delve into the subject matter.

Besides this curriculum, children can complete more challenging extra-credit sections throughout each handbook to earn special awards. Before beginning work in a handbook, newcomers to T&T must complete a short booklet that explains God’s plan of salvation.

trek-logo

Trek is a new addition to SVBC Awana, a middle-school program for 6th - 8th graders from 24-7 Ministries, the youth division of Awana. Trek takes real questions from real students and answers them from the Bible in a relevant, engaging way. The road trip/ travel theme helps teenagers learn to navigate the bumpy roads of life. All group members work on the same curriculum, no matter what grade they are in.

60 years of experience in youth ministry has provided Awana with invaluable lessons, skills and wisdom from which to draw. 24-7 Ministries has been delivering phenomenal youth ministry resources and improving on them for decades.

We know that true disciples are developed over time and there are no shortcuts. Everything we provide is created to intentionally support parents in discipling their children for the long haul.

THE TREK CURRICULUM

  • Addresses Biblical topics with clarity
  • Encourages the discipline of Scripture memorization
  • Steers youth down the right path as Christ followers
