PASTOR ERIC'S CORNER
You know, someone once said, “Discouragement is the dark room where the negatives of failure are developed.” At It is our intention to bring you relevant messages on Sunday that you can live out at work, school, or wherever you go on Monday and throughout the week. At the close of our Sunday morning services, we want you to be ready to step through the door and proceed in the spirit of the living God to reach a very skeptical and hurting world. We, at SVBC are trying to follow Jesus. We have not attained yet, but we are pressing toward the mark. It is a high calling from God. We hope that you would consider joining with us as we seek to bear one another’s burdens, and move into our community to assist those in need, thus showing them the love of God.Be a load lifter, a friend finder, and bridge builder with us. We are looking for people who will be risk-takers, care-takers and under-takers with a “we can do it vision” to reach our world for Christ and help us to develop disciples-------by first of all finding them, then helping them discover their gifts and abilities, and finally to encourage them to use these abilities in His service, resulting in a “Divinely” developed faith. Hope to see you soon, Pastor Eric |
