SUPER BOWL Sunday - COMBINED SERVICE

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
There will be a combined service at 10:00am in the FAMILY LIFE CENTER (GYM) on February 5th with guest speaker James Thrash of the Redskins/Eagles.  No adult Sunday School.  Dinner on the grounds will follow.  Please bring enough food for your family PLUS an extra meal to help feed our bus kids.

World of Life Summer Camp

WORD OF LIFE CAMP
Derek and Emily Wheelock are planning to take a youth group to Word of Life Camp this summer.

What: Word of Life Camp, The Island, a high-impact Christian summer camp for teenage students.
Where: Schroon Lake, NY
When: July 7th-July 14th
Who: Youth ages 13-18
Cost: $329 before April 30th / $359 Starting May 1st
($75 deposit is due with registration; balance is due June by 15th)
Why: An AWESOME week for your child(ren) to get away, where they can learn about growing closer to the Lord.

The week is full of awesome speakers, activities, music, and competitions.

ANNUAL PIA AUCTION

This week information is coming home regarding our Annual PIA Auction and how to collect donations. The donation letter and the donation log sheet are also available on SVCA's website if you need additional copies. This is a very exciting time of year, we all need to work together to make this a great event at our school. This year, all of the proceeds from the auction will go into the school's general fund to help with the maintenance of our academy.

Wednesday Night Lights

There will be a new study for ladies on Wednesday evenings at SVBC. Beginning Sept. 7 "Wednesday Night Lights" will start a study on the virtuous woman as found in Proverbs chapter 31. Each of the ten lessons will come from Proverbs 31 including topics such as: Virtue, Trust, Beauty, Energy, Prudence, Love, Praise and more. The class is open to all women and will meet from 6:45-8 PM in the main building, room 01.

Women's Ministry Fellowship

Meets Every Monday night 7pm in church sanctuary. Ladies meeting together to get engaged with local and foreign outreach. Writing letters to our missionaries, SVBC's 1st time guest and to others with encouragement. We learn about our missionaries by reading the letters they have sent us from all over the world and pray for them. We'll plan, participate in, and promote mision projects suich as Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child and ABBA care. Contact Crystal Jones or Karen Keller for more details.
